The Worcester County Department of Recreation & Parks is located in Snow Hill, Maryland. Our Department invites you to check out all that we have to offer. From our programs to our parks, we offer a wide range of opportunities for our residents and visitors to enjoy during their leisure time. We provide a variety of special events, programs, and fitness opportunities for youth and adults of all ages to enjoy. Our thirteen parks, located throughout the county, are open to explore and enjoy all year long. We offer a variety of leagues and sport opportunities for adults. With both individual and team opportunities, whether you are looking for a competitive league, or a recreational opportunity to just get out and play, we have something for you.
Our Active Start Youth Sport Development Programs are for children of all skill levels. These sport-specific programs prepare children for organized sports in a fun, non-threatening environment by teaching the fundamentals of play while encouraging an appreciation for being physically fit and healthy.
Archery Tag combines archery with laser tag. This program will teach you how to shoot our specialized bow and arrows.
Clinics that teach participants sports on another level! Learn technique and overall performance.
Lace up those cleats, grab some friends and join our Flag Football League.
